Position Title: General Maintenance HandymanJob Summary: We are seeking a Part- Time reliable, skilled, and self-motivated General Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" individual who can perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining facilities, equipment, and grounds while ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues as needed.
- Complete painting, drywall repair, flooring repairs, and other facility improvement projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including basic landscaping, snow removal, and grounds upkeep.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or handyman services preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
