About This Role
We are seeking a creative and passionate full-time teacher to join our childcare facility team.
Our full-time teacher will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The position requires good communication and organization skills to work with parents, children, and staff.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and creating a fun learning environment.
Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
What You'll Do
Use provided lesson plans and STEM curriculum to create a fun and engaging classroom environment.
Plan activities that promote the academic, social, and emotional growth of children in individual and group settings.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
Maintain open communication with parents.
Develop a positive and energetic atmosphere in the classroom.
Adhere to all center policies and state and local requirements.
Requirements
Must have some coursework in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or equivalent.
Some prior experience in childcare or teaching is preferred.
Passionate about working with children.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude required.
CPR, First Aid certification is preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Nice to Have
Prior experience with lesson planning and classroom management.
Knowledge of state and local regulations.
Spanish language skills.

Happyland Day Care Center is a safe and nurturing learning environment. We have been serving children ages 2 1/2- 10 years old for over 30 years. Happyland Day Care offers preschool and before and after-school services.
Operational Days and Hours are:
Monday - Friday
6:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
