We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Coaches to lead and inspire young children in our soccer program. This role involves teaching fundamental skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive, engaging environment for children of early childhood ages. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sports, childcare, and education, with the ability to motivate young learners while ensuring their safety and enjoyment. All coaches are trained to teach using our proven curriculum and coaching standards. Driving is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute age-appropriate soccer activities that promote skill development and fun.
- Lead children through drills, games, and practice sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide instruction in sports fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Monitor children during activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Communicate with parents regarding progress and program updates.
- Assist with setting up equipment, maintaining cleanliness of activity areas, and organizing sports materials.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from children of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Requirements
- Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel between multiple school locations
- Experience working with young children in sports, education, or childcare settings
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Willingness to learn basic soccer skills
- Availability for weekday programs and/or weekend sessions
- Passion for youth development through sports and movement
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
