Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Happy Valley Filling Station. In this role, you will be responsible for learning and educating our customers on our offerings of craft beer and wine, while providing outstanding service to support our mission of delivering an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Educating our customers on our craft beer and wine offerings
- Understand and educate our customers on our food menu
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage cash handling and operate the Toast POS system accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food pairings.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and menu offerings.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Understanding and appreciation of craft beer and/or wine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest interactions.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
