CDL Roll-Off Truck Driver
Happy Valley Dumpsters is a locally owned and growing dumpster rental company based in Bellefonte, PA. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking CDL driver to join our team operating one of our roll-off trucks.

New Trucks & Equipment
We take a lot of pride in our equipment. All of our trucks are brand new, and the person hired for this position will have their choice of available truck.
In return, we expect our drivers to take the same pride in their truck that we take in our equipment. Your assigned truck should be treated like it is your own.
Drivers are expected to:
- Sweep out and wipe down the truck daily
- Keep the cab clean and organized
- Wash the truck weekly
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Report any damage, mechanical issues, or maintenance needs promptly
- Take care of the truck and equipment they are assigned
We invest in nice equipment for our employees, and we expect it to be kept that way.
Position & Schedule
This is a five-day-per-week position, with Saturdays available as optional additional work.
Our day starts at 6:30 AM. Daily hours can vary depending on workload and scheduled deliveries and pickups.
The position primarily consists of delivering, swapping, and picking up roll-off dumpsters throughout our service area. Drivers work with residential customers, contractors, construction companies, and commercial accounts.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a roll-off truck
- Deliver and pick up dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction sites
- Perform dumpster swaps and dump-and-returns
- Safely load and unload roll-off containers
- Properly secure containers before transportation
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep your assigned truck clean and well cared for
- Communicate with the office regarding deliveries, pickups, placement instructions, and customer needs
- Treat customers and their property with respect
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Be dependable and report to work on time
Requirements
- Valid CDL
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently throughout the day
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Roll-off experience is preferred, but relevant commercial driving experience will also be considered
