What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Care Specialist position at Happy Trails Professional Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Services?

Our team of fabulous dog walkers and pet sitters can make roughly $1,000-$3,000 a month while fulfilling their dog, cat, puppy, and kitten-cuddling needs each week!
Team members are paid per hour, so they have plenty of room to grow their earnings! Plus, so many tips and bonuses all while you are out in the fresh air with the pets.
Our team members say that it is the "best job ever" and "how is it possible to get paid to do this?? It's the best!!" Being a pet sitter and dog walker is a rewarding job where you WILL be making a difference in the lives of animals and their humans!! Happy Trails is a family-oriented business both 2- and 4-legged.
No need to worry about hair and makeup every day and NO cubicle!!
Now, of course, we have some obvious requirements:
- Ability to be outside in all weather and be able to walk......a lot!!
- Ability to work with pets of all sizes!! From Great Danes to hamsters....we love them all!
- You have to also be comfortable cleaning up after pets...poop happens, and it’s part of our job.
- Ability to manage your time and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with LOTS of little details! A team player is a must.
Ok...some additional boring requirements as well...
- US citizens or legally authorized to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
- Valid US Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Over 18 years of age for insurance reasons
- Reliable car and smartphone are a must!
- Local full-time resident of Morris County, NJ. We work in Long Valley, Chester, Mount Olive, Flanders, Califon, Tewksbury, Hackettstown, and surrounding areas. Living within our service area is key as we drive A LOT!!
- Able to receive regular paychecks
- Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire
- Available holidays and weekends (We rotate those schedules to work around YOUR schedule and make sure we have enough team members to love all these pets!). Also, we pay extra for holidays and close on Christmas and Thanksgiving!
