Join Our Team as a Recruiting Manager – Willoughby, OH
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Recruiting Manager to lead caregiver recruiting and hiring for our growing team in Willoughby, OH. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role is primarily responsible for sourcing, screening, hiring, onboarding, and orienting caregivers, while ensuring all background checks and hiring requirements are completed accurately and on time.
This position plays an important role in creating a positive caregiver experience by maintaining communication with caregivers from the point of hire through onboarding and into their first scheduled shifts. In addition to leading recruiting efforts, this role also provides secondary support with incoming office calls, scheduling assistance, and general administrative support as needed.
The Recruiting Manager also participates in an on-call rotation with the Staffing Manager for after-hours and weekend staffing communication. This position is not expected to physically cover shifts.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead caregiver recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate outreach, screening, and interviews
- Manage the hiring process from candidate selection through onboarding
- Ensure all caregiver background checks, employment documents, and screening requirements are completed accurately and on time
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation
- Maintain communication with caregivers from hire through initial shift placement
- Partner with leadership to support caregiver retention and a strong employee experience
- Track hiring progress and help maintain an organized and efficient recruiting process
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist with incoming office calls and general office support
- Help with caregiver scheduling and shift coordination as needed
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend staffing needs
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director as needed
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, or scheduling preferred
- Home care, healthcare, or senior care experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to pass a background check
