At Happy Tails Veterinary Emergency Clinic (VEC), our Client Service Representatives (CSRs) are the first voice and face our clients encounter during what is often one of the most stressful moments in their pet’s life. As an emergency-only practice in Greensboro, NC, we rely on CSRs to bring empathy, clarity, and order to each interaction—making a meaningful difference from the very first call.
Whether you're welcoming someone through the door, answering a midnight emergency call, or helping a family say goodbye with compassion, your role is essential to our mission of delivering exceptional, heartfelt care.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a CSR at Happy Tails VEC, you'll:
- Greet clients and their pets with empathy and professionalism
- Answer phones, triage incoming calls, and provide accurate information about our services
- Manage check-ins, client records, invoicing, and payments with efficiency and care
- Support the medical team by coordinating client communication and ensuring smooth workflow
- Handle emotionally charged or sensitive situations with patience and compassion
- Work collaboratively with a close-knit team in a fast-paced emergency environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or veterinary reception preferred
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in high-stress situations
- Strong communication skills—both in person and over the phone
- Comfortable using computers and learning veterinary software systems
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Compassionate, reliable, and a true team player
- High school diploma or equivalent required
