We are looking for a pet care professional to join our team! We have an established clientele in the Baldwin Park/Winter Park area that need visits or walks every day.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Compassionate

Other requirements:
- Must live within 20-30 minutes of Baldwin Park
- Able to walk several miles with dogs and engage in exercise outside in all weather. Must be conscientious about managing your health and energy.
- Comfortable handling all sorts of animals, from cats to small dogs and large dogs, to the occasional exotic pet
- Must have your own reliable car to be able to get to each client's home
- Must be comfortable with being in client's homes, and be trustworthy in their homes and on their property. Must understand how to take care of pets and client's homes - respecting their space and keeping it clean.
- Pet CPR & First Aid Trained (Can assist with this if needed)
- Ability to use your phone to use texting, camera, and our own internal Happy Tails app for communicating with staff and clients
- Must be able to communicate clearly through written text summaries and messages with clients and staff
- Must agree to pass a background check
What we provide after a 30-day probation period:

- Complete insurance coverage for the pets in your care via PetCare Insurance
- An established clientele that need M-F walks and visits, with a growing clientele for evenings and weekends
- Assistance in CPR & First Aid training if needed
- Scheduling and communication support
