What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Happy Tails Animal Hospital?
We are a fast-growing, two-veterinarian practice looking for a full time or part time dedicated and compassionate veterinary technician to add to our growing practice. We treat small animals, exotic animals, and large animals (limited). We provide hours for work Monday-Friday between 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and generally work four, 10 hour days for full time or two 10 hour days for part time.
The ideal candidate is team oriented, works well in a fast paced environment, has excelled communication skills, is attentive and detail oriented, multi tasks well, and has two or more years experience. At this time we are only looking at candidates with experience/appropriate schooling (ie for animals, not for human hospitals, etc)
Duties will include (but are not limited to) anesthesia, radiology, laboratory, client education, patient treatments, maintaining paperless medical records, etc.
