Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Care Aides (HCAs) to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home health environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer's or memory care. Prior experience with electronic health records (EHR/Epic systems), medical terminology, and vital signs monitoring is highly valued. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in medical records and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, behavioral health needs, or post-acute recovery.
• Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy, aseptic techniques, and wound care as trained.
• Document patient information thoroughly using EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings like ICU, emergency medicine, trauma centers (Level I & II), pediatrics (PICU), or outpatient clinics.
• Support infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients with infectious diseases or requiring isolation precautions.
• Engage in patient education and support activities tailored to individual needs in geriatrics, pediatric care, or behavioral health contexts.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or HCA certification required; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice care, or home & community care is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks preferred; familiarity with medical terminology and physiology knowledge essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, children, individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (Hoyer lift use), standing for extended periods, and assisting with mobility safely.
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate caregiving attitude required to ensure optimal patient service and support.
