**Overview:**
We are seeking a passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. If you have a love for animals and expertise in grooming techniques, we invite you to apply for this rewarding position.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each pet during grooming procedures
- Handle and restrain animals with care and compassion
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owners' requests and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Monitor pets for health issues and report any abnormalities to the pet owners
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in pet grooming or related field required would be willing to do an apprenticeship for the right candidate please note we pay hourly and provide all equipment/supplies needed in order to groom. Pay is dependent on experience.
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Knowledge of various grooming styles for different breeds of dogs and cats
- Ability to lift heavy pets and equipment when necessary
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Certification as a Veterinary Assistant or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in pet sitting or animal care is beneficial
