Compensation structure I can be negotiated with the right candidate. In this energetic role, you will provide top-quality grooming services that enhance each pet’s comfort and appearance while ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Your expertise in animal handling, grooming techniques, and customer communication will be vital in delivering exceptional care and building lasting relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning with precision and care.
- Handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments using gentle animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and work areas to promote a hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences, provide updates on pet health or behavior, and offer advice on pet care routines.
- Support pet care activities like monitoring animal health during grooming sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and provide excellent customer service that leaves clients satisfied and confident in our care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming.
- Knowledge of dog handling techniques, animal restraint methods, and general animal care practices
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences and pet health concerns
