Role Description
This is a contract role for a CDL A Truck Driver with a hazmat and tanker endorsment. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, driving safely and efficiently, loading and unloading cargo, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This is an on-site role located in Schaumburg, IL.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal truck driving rules and regulations
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Prior experience in transporting goods is a plus
- Ability to handle physical workload including loading and unloading cargo
- High school diploma or equivalent
Salary : $2,000 - $2,500
