Role Description
This role offers the opportunity to help establish and grow the company’s cross-border operations presence in Laredo. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations in the Laredo location. This role monitors cross border operations, driver performance, ensures compliance with safety and operational standards, and serves as the primary local representative of the company. The position requires significant knowledge and experience in cross border operations, and significant time in the field supporting drivers, visiting customer locations, and ensuring service quality.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or field operations
- 5 years managing cross-border operations between the United States and Mexico
- Experience with brokerage companies preferred
- Experience launching or scaling logistics operations
- Experience supervising drivers or field employees preferred
- Experience with ELD systems and driver compliance tools preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of DOT and transportation safety regulations preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally to Houston Texas
- Valid driver’s license required
- Fluent in English
