Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to represent our brand at local farmers markets on Saturday mornings. This role involves setting up our market booth, engaging with customers, promoting our line of flavored oils, and handling sales transactions. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, and passionate about food and local products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before the market opens to set up the booth and prepare for the day.
- Set up display area in a clean, attractive, and organized manner.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable way.
- Promote our products, offer samples, and provide usage suggestions for different flavored oils.
- Answer questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Complete sales transactions accurately using provided point-of-sale system or payment methods.
- At the end of the market, break down the booth and properly pack up all materials.
- Ensure all equipment and products are accounted for and transported safely.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or food-related fields is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and be punctual and reliable.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Have own vehicle with current auto insurance.
Be excellent at sales. Be outgoing. Willingness to understand product to help promote and sell product.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to set up and tear down market set up.
Be able to stand for long periods of time.
Be able to adapt to weather and temperature conditions.
Must be comfortable with money and making change. Knowledge of Square, or willingness to learn.
Need to have own vehicle, with insurance, that can have a load with table and about 5 totes. If it is during the summer, then a canopy and weights must also fit.
Must be available every Saturday. Most days will work from as early as 7 am and be done by 2pm.
Start off as PRN but then will be every weekend starting in fall or early 2026
Salary : $10 - $15
