Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced School Administrator to join our team! As a Library Administrator, you will oversee the creation and development of new library programs, learning activities, and outreach endeavors. You will also manage the budget for the school, oversee spending, and create reports for government officials and community transparency. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the functions of a school, exceptional communication skills, and experience with leading a team.

Responsibilities 

• Plan, organize, and oversee library operations, programs, and learning activities
• Create and implement new programs to better serve our community
• Create lasting relationships with vendors and community members to assist in events and ongoing programs within the library
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, distribute funds for projects as needed, and ensure financial compliance
• Ensure all departments and staff are compliant with state and federal laws and policies, and that all library policies are up to date
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing new staff members

Qualifications

• Demonstratable experience successfully leading a team
• Deep understanding of library programs and community outreach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
