Our client is a well-established commercial architecture and design firm seeking an Architectural Designer to join their growing team in beautiful Mount Pleasant, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating on commercial projects from concept through construction documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs and construction documents for commercial projects.
- Produce detailed drawings using Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus).
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, engineers, and consultants throughout all project phases.
- Assist with space planning, code research, and design development.
- Coordinate project drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
- Participate in client meetings and design presentations as needed.
- Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable building codes.
- Support projects from schematic design through construction administration.
- Maintain project schedules while managing multiple deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- 2 years of architectural design experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Working knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Architectural licensure is a plus but not required.
