We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team to work with children ages 2-13 years old.
Position Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Happy Hearts, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide therapy to children ages 2-13 years old in the areas of speech development, receptive/expressive language, articulation, and social communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to children ages 2-13 years old at our Happy Hearts clinic.
- Assess and develop personalized treatment plans to meet each child's specific needs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure that therapy goals are being integrated into daily routines.
- Provide family education and strategies to support the child's progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Document therapy progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with company standards.
- Work collaboratively with the growing Happy Hearts team to ensure consistency and quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of California.
- Experience working with children.
- Experience administering speech assessments.
- Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- A compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children and families.
