Full time 900am-530pm

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
  • Employ effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall educational goals of the preschool.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students in an educational or caregiving capacity is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Skills in behavior management techniques to effectively guide children's behavior.
  • Experience in childcare settings, including preschool, toddler care, or infant care is desirable.
  • Background in special education is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to create engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
  • A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

  • Weekends as needed
