Summary Happy Haven Childcare in Lilburn is looking for an individual to join our team as a cook. Hours are 6:30am-1pm Monday-Friday. Food handling and preparation experience is a plus. Duties Create home-cooked, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of the school's menu and budget, as well as state and federal requirements. Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff and distribute food to the classrooms. Follow the daily menu provided by the Director which incorporates USDA, CACFP, licensing, and/or health department regulations. Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed. Requirements High school diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years old Must be willing to meet all state preschool cook training requirements 1 year of experience in food planning, preparation and service following USDA guidelines Must be willing to submit to fingerprinting and criminal records check
