Job description:
Must have experience and classes in Child Development or higher.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday until 6 pm.
Responsibilities:
-Overseeing daily classroom operations, planning age-appropriate educational activities and implement lesson plans.
- Provide care and support to children in a nurturing and safe environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, cognitive, and social development
- Assist with behavior management and implement positive discipline techniques
- Create a structured routine for children that includes meals, nap times, and playtime
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Collaborate with parents to understand and meet the individual needs of each child
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with infant care and early childhood education principles
- Ability to educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
- First aid certification is preferred
- A background in preschool or early childhood education is desirable
