Happy Days Children's Learning Center has been serving the Santa Cruz community since 1995. We offer age-appropriate programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at two locations in Santa Cruz, California.

Infant Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants that are in your care.
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents.
- Feed infants solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents.
- Change diapers as needed.
- Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys.
- Help soothe kids to sleep for naptime and put them in their cribs.
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean.
Preschool Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children can explore and learn.
- Assess children's progress through observations to tailor learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories.
- Experience in early childhood education and childcare settings.
- Proficient in lesson planning, curriculum development, and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
Teacher Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have experience with infants and have completed the 12 core ECE core courses along with the Infant/Toddler course.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
