Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Lewiston, Idaho

Position SummaryHappy Day Corporation is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of our restaurants, distribution center, and corporate facilities. This position performs a wide variety of building, equipment, and facility maintenance work, and every day brings something different.

Essential Responsibilities· Perform repairs on restaurant equipment and building systems.

• Complete preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility issues.
• Install equipment and assist with remodels.
• Respond to emergency service calls.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, ladders, and equipment.
• Communicate repair status with management.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications· Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

• Experience in general maintenance or construction trades.
• Ability to work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications· Experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, commercial kitchen equipment, welding/fabrication, HVAC, refrigeration, preventive maintenance, or CMMS software.

• EPA Certification or HVAC experience welcomed but not required.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements· Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work indoors, outdoors, rooftops, kitchens, coolers, freezers, and mechanical rooms.
• Safely use tools and maintenance equipment.
