Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and service a wide range of systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify faults accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform repairs to ensure system reliability and longevity
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance during installations
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, service logs, and technical notes
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and maintenance activities
- Assist in training customers on system operation and maintenance procedures as needed
Experience
- Minimum of five years’ proven experience as a Service Technician or Installer in a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring practices, and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits
- Demonstrated ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and installation manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues quickly and effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
