What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice HVAC Technician position at Happies Heating, Cooling & Plumbing?
As we expand into the area we are looking to add new team members for performing residential system checks for our customers. Experience isn't required but excellent customer service skills are. We will train the right dependable person with great customer service skills , a positive attitude and some basic mechanical knowledge. Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record. First year apprentices make $50k per year. 2nd year technicians average $72k per year.
Work hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, Overtime as needed. Rotating on call when trained.
Requirements: Dependable person with a great positive attitude and a desire to succeed and work with a team. Perform residential system checks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and desire to continually learn
- Be able to perform maintenance check ups.
- Work well with other technicians to accomplish tasks
- Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles..
- Offer service agreements to customers.
- Demonstrate customer service skills and have ability to communicate ideas clearly and explain problems to customers and coworkers.
