Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Substance Abuse counseling and group therapy, with a focus on providing support to individuals facing various challenges. This role involves leading group sessions, facilitating discussions, and creating a safe environment for participants to share their experiences. The Group Facilitator will work collaboratively with others to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention to assist participants.
- Provide direct support and patient care, addressing issues related to addiction, grief, PTSD, and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.
- Stay informed about best practices in behavioral health and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or group therapy settings is essential.
- Familiarity with crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Previous experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in pediatric settings is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in tele-health practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
- Must have RADT.
- Must have CPR

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
