Based in St. Louis, MO, we combine local business and design leadership with a global development network across the U.S., Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Our team delivers mobile, web, and back-end solutions (.NET, Java, Node, and more) with a focus on clear communication, smart execution, and solutions that provide real value for clients.
This is a full-time 40-hour per week contract role, with an approximate 50/50 split between on-site client visits and remote work. Compensation is $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience. There will be an option to convert to a salaried employee at a future date.
You’ll manage 2–3 active software projects and provide light account oversight for an additional client or two. Responsibilities include managing scope and schedules, coordinating work across local and global engineering teams, communicating clearly with clients, anticipating risks, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
You’ll work across both agile and waterfall approaches based on project needs, keep teams aligned, and create a smooth, confident experience for clients. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, an excellent communicator, and able to switch contexts quickly while staying calm and personable.
- Proven experience managing software projects using agile and waterfall/hybrid methodologies
- Strong understanding of web/mobile/custom software development lifecycles
- Excellent client-facing communication skills; able to translate between business goals and technical requirements while acting as a liaison between engineering and business
- Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, backlog management, and scope control
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate across distributed (local and global) teams
- Strong organizational, facilitation, and risk-management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome
- Experience managing projects in Jira, Asana, and/or similar tools
