Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Assurance:
Review piping specifications, drawings, and project quality plans.
Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements for piping activities.
Ensure compliance with SEMI standards, ASME codes, and client-specific requirements.
Verify material traceability for piping materials including fittings, valves, and tubing (SS, PVDF, Teflon, etc.).
Monitor and verify weld procedures, welder qualifications, and orbital welding processes.
Quality Control:
Conduct inspections during fabrication, installation, and testing stages of UHP piping, chemical delivery systems, DI water systems, etc.
Witness and document pressure testing, helium leak testing, borescope inspections, and passivation processes.
Coordinate non-destructive examination (NDE) activities.
Maintain NCR (Non-Conformance Report) logs and facilitate root cause analysis.
Ensure all QA/QC documentation is complete and submitted for turnover packages.
Coordination & Communication:
Interface with client QA/QC teams, contractors, and project engineers.
Participate in QA/QC audits, internal walkthroughs, and punch list activities.
Support commissioning and validation teams during system turnover.
Minimum Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- In-depth knowledge SEMI standards, ASME, ASTM, piping materials (ex: SS, PVDF, PFA, PFE, etc)
- Experience with orbital welding, cleanroom protocols, and clean utilities (preferred)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- 5 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role is preferred, with a strong understanding of QA/QC principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QA/QC management tools.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Experience with data collection methods and statistical analysis related to quality management is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration across teams.
