Assistant Manager – Gas & Chemical Operations

Location: Hanwha QCells Project Site – Cartersville, GA

Overview:
We are seeking two highly skilled and reliable Managers to oversee gas and chemical operations at the Hanwha QCells site. These positions will be responsible for ensuring safe handling, inspection, and maintenance of chemical and gas systems, while driving efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tank lorry charge, BSGS gas/chemical charge, and waste liquid collection
• Conduct inspections (equipment, piping, tank, heating lines, BSGS, chemical, and auxiliary systems)
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and lead root cause analysis with corrective actions
• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies
• Oversee equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance (P.M)
• Compile and analyze data logs, usage reports, and operation history
• Manage parts inventory and documentation
• Drive 2S activities and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in gas/chemical equipment operation and safety management preferred
• Strong understanding of handling KOH, H2O2, HCl, HF, HNO3, and industrial gases (N2O, NH3, SiH4)
• Proven ability to manage inspections, alarm response, and preventive maintenance
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
• Ability to work on-site at Cartersville, GA
