Job Description
Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Reports To: Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations & Analysis
• Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management presentations
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
• Conduct detailed variance analysis on actual performance against budget/forecast and provide actionable insights
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance indicators to support strategic planning
2. Financial Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, business risks, and cost-saving opportunities
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and management reports to support executive decision-making
• Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership regarding budgeting, profitability, and operational efficiency
• Prepare ad hoc reports and business analysis requested by senior management
3. Accounting & Financial Operations Support
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities prepared by finance/accounting staff
• Oversee invoice processing, expense reimbursements, and payment tracking functions
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documentation
4. Compliance & Process Improvement
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and support auditor requests
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, GAAP principles, and internal control procedures
• Monitor financial processes for risks and recommend control/process improvements
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, budgeting, and financial analysis principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling/reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in supervisory or team leadership role preferred
• Experience using ERP/accounting systems
• Experience working in multinational or multicultural environment
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
• CPA, CMA, CFA, or other finance/accounting certifications preferred
