Summary:
This challenging position is a great opportunity for the right candidate to become a part of a dedicated team of aerospace manufacturing professionals. We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented applicant to deburr or polish surfaces of parts using a variety of small hand power tools and materials.
Essential Functions:
- Processes major aerospace parts per specifications
- Creates edge breaks and removes burs per work instructions or blueprint
- Polishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprint
- Manual break of edges and shoeshine of broach slots
- Process holes per customer specifications and work instructions
- Use various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr work
- Processing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using handheld power tools
- Rework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructions
- Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
- High School Degree or G.E.D
- 1 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment

- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering work instructions
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Ability to travel domestically – 10% max
