We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented applicant to deburr or polish surfaces of parts using a variety of small hand power tools and materials.Essential Functions:Processes major aerospace parts per specificationsCreates edge breaks and removes burs per work instructions or blueprintPolishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprintManual break of edges and shoeshine of broach slotsProcess holes per customer specifications and work instructionsUse various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr workProcessing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using handheld power toolsRework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructionsPerform other related duties or responsibilities as requiredRequired Qualifications & Experience:Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related dataHigh School Degree or G.E.D1 years of experience in a Manufacturing environmentDesired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional levelAbility to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organizationAbility to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and engineering work instructionsMust have strong attention to detailAbility to travel domestically – 10% max Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 35lbsMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to go up and down stairs frequently Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.
