Sales & Wellness Associate

Hanson Spa & Sauna is seeking a sales professional who thrives on commission-based selling and wants to help customers bring the wellness benefits of regular hot tub, sauna, swim spa, or cold plunge use into their home — and elevate their back patio space with beautiful patio furniture. The Sales & Wellness Specialist sells hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, swim spas, patio furniture, accessories, and water care products across multiple channels — in-store, in customers' homes, and via phone, email, text, and virtual platforms. This role combines direct customer engagement and consistent follow-up with day-to-day showroom operations, including opening/closing procedures, delivery prep, and inventory management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Sell hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, cold plunges, patio furniture, accessories, and water care products in the showroom and through virtual platforms
• Conduct in-person and virtual sales consultations and presentations
• Follow up promptly and professionally on internet, phone, and text leads
• Manage and maintain the customer lead database
• Address customer inquiries and concerns with knowledgeable, effective solutions
• Perform showroom opening and closing duties
• Operate the POS system and process transactions
• Complete daily paperwork and prepare end-of-day deposits
• Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready showroom
• Perform routine water care consultation and maintenance for customers and showroom hot tubs, cold plunges, and swim spas
• Stock merchandise, assist with inventory management, and flag supplies that need reordering
• Participate in ongoing training to build product knowledge and sales skills
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

WHAT YOU BRING:

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of relevant retail or specialty sales experience preferred
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid driver's license required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, swim spas, and water chemistry a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Quick, critical problem-solving ability
• Empathy and a customer-focused mindset
• Adaptability in a dynamic sales environment
• Confident negotiation and closing skills
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently
• Comfortable selling by phone, email, text, and virtual platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/order management software

• Able to read and interpret manuals, safety instructions, and company procedures
• Skilled in writing routine business correspondence and reports
• Comfortable speaking to groups of customers or team members
• Able to calculate commissions, percentages, volume, and geometric dimensions
• Able to apply practical reasoning and follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
• Occasionally required to sit, reach, kneel, crouch, climb, or use hands
• Must occasionally lift and/or move 25–50 lbs.

Work Environment

• Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and outdoor weather
• Moderate noise level typical of a retail showroom

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: Base salary $32,000/year; uncapped commission — total earnings typically $78,000–$100,000 /year
• Compensation Package: Base Commission Bonus

• Schedule: 8–10-hour shifts, 5 days a week, including weekends
• License/Certification Required: Driver's License
• Location: Boulder, CO 80303 — must be able to commute; relocation required before start date if not local
