RESPONSIBILITIES

• Culture and engineer cell lines; prepare reagents and test agents used in in vivo studies.
• Perform in vitro cell-based killing assays and binding assays using standard techniques such as ELISA, and flow cytometry.
• Perform and conduct dosing by oral gavage, intravenous, intraperitoneal, retro orbital, and subcutaneous routes, assessing health, and perform humane euthanasia.
• Perform tumor cell inoculation and measure tumor size and volume in CDX and/or PDX mouse models.
• Collect blood samples from rodents and perform necropsies for organ harvest.
• Exercise basic technical discretion to troubleshoot experiments.
• Coordinate and execute assigned tasks in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Review data, prepare reports, and communicate experimental results to the manager and in team meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all experimental procedures and data in an electronic laboratory notebook.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S. or M.S. in Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related scientific discipline, with 1–2 years (with M.S.) or 3–4 years (with B.S.) of hands-on laboratory experience in an industrial or academic setting.
• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture; knowledge of flow cytometry, Western blotting, and ELISA is a plus.
• Proven experience in small animal handling, tumor cell inoculation, and tumor size and volume measurement in CDX/PDX models.
• Experience with oral gavage (PO) and other administration routes such as intraperitoneal (IP), subcutaneous (SC), intratumoral (IT), and intravenous (IV) dosing is required.
• Proficiency in blood collection and tissue harvesting during necropsy.
