This is a Part-Time walker position with HANSL Delivery Service Inc, delivering packages for a National Technology Company!
The Role
This is our FOOT COURIER ROUTE - no van, no driving.
You'll walk an assigned route with a hand truck, delivering packages to residential and commercial addresses.
What You'll Do
- Deliver packages on foot along an assigned walking route
- Safely load, organize, and transport packages using a hand truck
- Handle items ranging from envelopes to boxes up to 50lbs
- Interact with customers and the public professionally
- Follow all H.A.N.S.L. and Amazon safety standards throughout your shift

Shifts up to 8 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week.
Benefits & Scheduling:
- $19.50 hr / Bi-Weekly and up
- Overtime when available
- 1 - 3 Day Workweek (up to 8hrs per day) is typical however you have the ability to receive additional days and hours. Including weekends and holidays.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
- Safely deliver packages to customers located in residential neighborhoods and schools
- Safely and co-operatively engage with coworkers engage with coworkers, management and vendors/third-parties
- Safely and professionally interact with customers and the general public while delivering packages to residential, retail, and business locations
- Carry out a set of instructions and handle company property without constant supervision
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
- Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
- Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out and communicating with supervisors and other team members
Requirements:
- MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD!
- Valid California State-Issued ID (Drivers License Not Required)
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable walking several miles per day in various weather
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass Background Check
- Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (Which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 weeks to COMPLETE. It may take longer if you have an out of state driver's license.
