About the role
We’re looking for a friendly, guest-focused team member to work as both a server and cashier in our fast-paced, casual Korean restaurant.
We’re looking for someone who is both kind and responsible. While reliability and accountability are very important, providing genuinely warm and friendly service to every guest is our highest priority.
Schedule (Current Need)
- Tuesday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 3:00 PM – Close (typically around 9:00 PM; may run later)
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay & Training
- Hourly base pay tips
- Paid training (approximately 2 weeks)
What You’ll Do
- Greet guests, take orders, serve food, check on tables, and process payments with friendly, attentive service
- Operate the POS system, answer phones, and prepare takeout orders (Uber Eats & DoorDash)
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and accurately enter special requests, spice levels, and allergy information
- Keep the dining room clean and organized, and complete opening and closing side work
- Help guests enjoy Korean cuisine by confidently answering basic menu questions
What We’re Looking For
- A genuinely friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and professional
- Team player with a willingness to learn
- Basic English required; Spanish or Korean is a plus
- Previous restaurant or POS experience is helpful but not required
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid OLCC Service Permit (required, as this position serves alcohol)
- Oregon Food Handler Card (or obtain within the required timeframe)
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 30 lbs
