Smokehouse Production & Packaging Associate — Part-Time
Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m.–Noon | No Weekends or Holidays

Looking for hands-on work with a consistent daytime schedule? Join Hansen’s IGA Markets and learn how to prepare and package our smokehouse products. You’ll work primarily in a dedicated production and packaging area, helping ensure products are accurately weighed, packaged, and labeled.
Enjoy approximately 25 hours per week, with afternoons, weekends, and holidays free!
What You’ll Do
- Weigh, package, and label products accurately.
- Follow daily production assignments and communicate questions or concerns.
- Move products into and out of coolers and freezers; rotate, date, and organize stock.
- Follow food safety, equipment operation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Help with other smokehouse production and packaging tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate required equipment.
- No previous smokehouse or meat processing experience required; training provided.
- Dependable, willing to learn, and ready to help the team.
- Able to follow recipes, instructions, and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail when preparing, weighing, packaging, and labeling products.
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work primarily in a separate production and packaging area, with regular work in coolers and freezers.
- Stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for extended periods.
