Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to support a dynamic, fast-paced technical environment in Columbia, SC. This role is partially onsite (Tuesday-Thursday onsite, additional days as needed).
What You’ll DoCoordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through implementation.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs, issue logs, and documentation from scope through post-implementation.
Track project milestones, timelines, and budgets; adjust plans as needed to maintain delivery targets.
Ensure projects adhere to PMO/ISSM processes, quality standards, and audit requirements.
Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, resource needs, and scope impacts.
Facilitate project communications, including meetings, correspondence, and status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
Lead cross-functional teams and ensure resources are assigned appropriately to meet project objectives.
Manage issue resolution and escalate roadblocks, timeline constraints, and quality concerns as required.
Serve as the primary point of coordination for all project activities, driving the project to final business acceptance.
Prepare formal presentations and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication with an assertive, customer-focused approach
Strong leadership in a team or project setting
Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously
Strong understanding of SDLC, project management methodologies, business processes, and strategic alignment
Conflict resolution, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to lead projects end-to-end (inception through completion)
Proficiency in managing the project triple constraints (scope, schedule, budget)
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Strong technical aptitude and ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams
Budgeting experience
One or more certifications preferred: PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, SAFe
