Job Description
As a part of the Hansen’s IGA Market team, the Floor Cleaner is responsible for delivering “best in class” customer service to all guests by providing general floor cleaning to our facilities, mainly store locations at Stanley, Mondovi, Black River Falls, and Neillsville locations. This would be a part time position, working roughly 2 hours per location in the evening hours, 20 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining equipment used in floor maintenance such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums
- Remove stains and debris, using the appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
- Inspecting floors for damage
- Communicate all repairs, requests, and concerns to the Facilities/Grounds Manager
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of the equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
- Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment, such as a sweeper scrubber
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
