Position Overview
We are seeking a litigation paralegal to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials, meaningful experience in business litigation, and a desire to work in a high-performing, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist multiple attorneys and clients in a variety of litigation-based matters
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, affidavits, and letters.
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, witnesses, experts, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner
- Conduct legal research using online databases and libraries
- Organize and create exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department (highly desired)
- Associate’s degree or higher in Legal Studies or a related field, or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program (highly desired)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal software (Westlaw, Clio)
- Familiar with court rules, filing procedures, and legal formats
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Strong, self-starting ability, willing to take initiative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-moving practice with a great deal of independence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
