As a material estimator on our team, you will play a key role in helping us deliver high quality post-frame building kits across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update client material lists for accuracy
- Review and make minor revisions to drawings as needed to meet project specifications
- Design trusses using provided software to be built in our truss plant
- Help provide client technical support to their building and plan questions
- Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance the overall design process
- Closely collaborate with our design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient project completion
Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry or CAD experience is a plus
- Problem solving skills and desire to help answer client questions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good at multi tasking or ability to prioritize a task list
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective negotiation skills for procurement of materials and vendor agreements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal team
Training
Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for all specific job duties, processes, software, and systems. Previous experience with post-frame construction, material estimating, or truss design is helpful but not required. We will teach you the Hansen Pole Buildings, specific processes and skills needed to be successful in the position.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
