Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Licensed Psychological Associate to join our team! In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based interventions, and therapeutic services tailored to diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help empower individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health challenges to thrive in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals across age groups, including those with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Offer crisis intervention support in urgent situations to ensure client safety and stability
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for clients with complex needs in outpatient or inpatient settings
- Maintain accurate medical records, document patient progress, and ensure compliance with all legal standards
- Support telehealth therapy sessions to expand access to mental health services across diverse communities
Skills
- Extensive experience in child & family counseling, school-based mental health services, or hospital settings
- Proven supervising experience in clinical environments or training junior staff
- Strong skills in crisis intervention and handling trauma-related disorders
- Knowledge of mental health diagnostics and psychological testing methods
- Familiarity with behavioral health interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities across age ranges including geriatrics and pediatrics
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote patient assessment tools
- Ability to conduct intake assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Deep understanding of HIPAA compliance, clinical ethical guidelines, and medical records management
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
