Hans Florine is seeking a passionate and experienced Climbing Coach / Outdoor Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will lead climbing sessions, train clients of various skill levels, and promote safe, effective climbing techniques. Responsibilities
- Lead indoor and outdoor climbing sessions for individuals and groups
- Teach climbing techniques, safety protocols, and proper equipment use
- Develop training programs tailored to different skill levels
- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and best practices
- Inspect climbing gear and maintain equipment in safe working condition
- Provide guidance, motivation, and support to clients
- Assist in organizing climbing events, workshops, and outdoor trips
Requirements
- Experience in rock climbing (indoor or outdoor)
- Strong knowledge of climbing techniques, safety systems, and equipment
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Ability to work with clients of all experience levels
- Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor environments
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Climbing certifications (AMGA or similar)
- First Aid / CPR certification
- Experience leading outdoor expeditions or group training
- Background in fitness coaching or sports instruction
