Wealth Advisor – Northern or Central New Jersey

This is an opportunity for an established advisor who enjoys owning and developing sophisticated client relationships, with the platform and resources to focus on both deepening existing relationships and driving thoughtful growth.

The firm is experiencing significant organic growth and is investing heavily in its local advisory teams. The successful candidate will work directly with high-net-worth individuals and families, taking ownership of existing and incoming relationships while delivering comprehensive financial planning, investment advice, and ongoing wealth management.

The platform combines the resources, infrastructure, and capabilities of a large national wealth management firm with locally led advisory teams and a strong regional culture.

The Role

The Wealth Advisor will serve as a primary relationship manager for high-net-worth clients and their families, working closely with internal planning, investment, tax, estate, and client-service resources.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the lead advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Developing a deep understanding of each client's financial objectives, family dynamics and longer-term planning needs.
  • Delivering comprehensive wealth management advice across investments, retirement, estate planning, tax strategy, risk management and other areas of financial planning.
  • Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their families.
  • Identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and expand the firm's work with clients over time.
  • Partnering with investment, planning and specialist teams to provide coordinated advice.
  • Supporting the onboarding and transition of new client relationships coming onto the platform.
  • Developing relationships within the local professional community and generating referrals where appropriate.
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the Greater Philadelphia advisory team.

Ideal Background

  • Meaningful experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • A track record of directly owning and managing client relationships rather than operating solely in a support capacity.
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant wealth management, private wealth, RIA or financial advisory experience.
  • Strong financial planning and investment knowledge.
  • A consultative, relationship-oriented approach rather than a purely transactional or product-driven background.
  • The ability to communicate sophisticated financial concepts clearly and credibly with clients.
  • Strong judgment, interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
  • A desire to continue developing as an advisor within a growing organization.
  • A CFP designation or progress toward the CFP strongly preferred. CFA, CPA or other relevant credentials are also valuable.
  • Existing relationships or roots within the Greater Philadelphia market are preferred.

This opportunity may be particularly relevant to advisors currently within independent RIAs, private wealth firms, bank wealth platforms, or larger advisory organizations who want greater access to resources, client opportunities, and professional infrastructure.

Why Consider the Opportunity?

The firm is in an unusually strong growth position, with substantial new client demand and continued investment in its advisory platform.

The platform offers:

  • A strong and growing flow of client opportunities.
  • Established national resources with locally based leadership.
  • Comprehensive investment and financial planning capabilities.
  • Significant operational and client-service support.
  • The opportunity to inherit and develop meaningful client relationships.
  • A collaborative advisor culture rather than an eat-what-you-kill brokerage model.
  • Competitive base compensation and performance-based incentive opportunity.
  • Longer-term career and economic upside as the organization continues to grow.
