Job Description
We are looking for dynamic individual dedicated to helping students succeed! We have a Learning Support Teaching Assistant position available at Clearview Elementary effective immediately. The position provides academic support to students under the direction of a teacher, assists the teacher in managing student behavior and maintaining a safe learning environment, and performs a variety of clerical support functions. The position is school-year, full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day. Pay rate is at least $13.52 per hour minimum. Offered rate is based on experience and internal equity.
Qualifications
Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test, which can be taken after hire.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
