Job Description
The LPN-Health Room Assistant is a full-time, 7 hours per day, school-year position. Responsibilities include assessing and providing treatment for the physical and emotional needs of the students in accordance with PA state requirements under the direction of a Certified School Nurse, as well as maintaining health and immunization records. The hourly pay range is $18.47 minimum to $26.37 maximum. Offered rate based on experience and internal equity.
Qualifications
Current PA LPN designation and CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
Minimum Of One (1) Year Experience As LPN Preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must possess knowledge of medication administration
Must possess excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Must be cooperative, patient, congenial and customer service oriented
Cognitive Abilities
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to follow written and verbal directions
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
