A Little About Hanover Iron Works
Hanover Iron Works has been fabricating and erecting customized steel stairways, rails, and other miscellaneous metal components for more than 60 years.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- TIG weld Aluminum and Stainless Handrails.
- Use of Angle grinder and finishing tools to achieve the proper finish called out.
- Operate cold saw, band saw, pipe-notcher and grinder.
- Operate overhead crane.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack.
- Use jigs, welding torches and hand tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Tig welding of Aluminum and Stainless Steel.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, tool-box shop talks, safety procedures, Operator's Manuals and maintenance instructions.
- Experience using tape measures and hand tools.
- Requires knowledge of various tools for fabrication and layout.
- Ability to use basic math and geometry.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing schedule and switch from job to job.
