Full-Time Housekeeper

Hanover Hill Health Care Center is now hiring for a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This department is essential in creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe and clean environment throughout our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Job Requirements:

• Work schedule includes 40-hours per week including other weekend / 7:30am-4pm
• Must possess and maintain a customer service oriented attitude with personnel, residents, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism
• Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day housekeeping duties and functions as needed
• Assure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas
• Assure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary, safe, comfortable and attractive manner
• Assure that established infection control and universal precautions are maintained at all times
• Coordinate isolation procedures with nursing services
• Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established environmental services procedures
