Hanover Hill Health Care Center is now hiring a Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team! The Dining Services department at Hanover Hill is responsible for providing the highest quality dining experience to meet the dietary needs of our residents in our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Schedule is a combination of weekdays and every other weekend.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Maintain a customer service oriented attitude with personnel, residents, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner
- Able to make independent decisions, follow instructions and to accept feedback and constructive criticism
- Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled duties as well as special cleaning of work areas and equipment in the kitchen, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain the flexibility to be trained and work in both the dish room as well as in the dining areas throughout the facility.
- Follow food service and dishwashing schedules as closely as practical.
- Clean and wash all silverware, dishware, pots and pans, etc. as directed and ensure availability for next meal.
- Sweep and mop floors, clean surfaces and walls as directed.
- Deliver and pick up food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
- Remove and wash trays from food carts.
- Wash carts and condiment containers as directed.
- Take all rubbish and garbage to dumpster and clean area around dumpster as directed.
- Help put away delivery stock; break up cardboard boxes and discard them in dumpster.
